ÂLove Aaj Kal just made a fabulous opening and became an instant success. Imtiaz Ali canÂt ask for more. This is his second consecutive success after ÂJab We MetÂ. Now the people are really excited as to whatÂs next. But looks like, the director is taking his time off by basking in LAKÂs success as of now. He revealed, ÂMy slate is clean. and at the moment he has no plans, according to sources.
Would you believe that the director doesnÂt like the romantic genre? Yes, Imtiaz, who has established himself by giving couple of lovey-dovey hits till now, said that he doesnÂt like watching love stories. Hard to believe, right? In fact Imtiaz had worked on stories that were based on subjects like thriller, horror and crime before his ÂSocha Na ThaÂ. So we wonder what Imtiaz has in store for the future.
But this news is making its rounds in the industry circles. Imtiaz Ali is said to do a movie with Shree Ashtavinayak productions (that recently gave ÂLuckÂ), having Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Initially the director had dropped the idea after writing the script, as he was not happy with the story. But it is said that he would be giving a movie with the pair.
Akki-Bebo hit it off well with ÂKambakkht IshqÂ. And now along with this successful director, we wonder what the trio will cook up?
